Urban Runoff Rates Adjusted

Rate Increases

Based on the August 2021 CPI, a 4.0% increase was applied to the current rates. For residential customers this resulted in a $0.10 increase in the monthly urban runoff rate. The new residential monthly rate is $2.52, effective January 1, 2022.

The urban runoff charges support our compliance with the Federal Clean Water Act, which mandates all cities to monitor and reduce the amount of pollutants in storm water and urban runoff that flow into creeks, rivers, lakes, and oceans.
