- ADA Transition Plan
Your input is needed to update Brea’s ADA Transition Plan. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) protects individuals from discrimination on the basis of disability. Part of the Act also requires local governments to make their facilities, programs and services accessible to persons with disabilities. To ensure that, public entities are required to complete a self-evaluation, along with receiving input from the public, to determine whether they are in compliance with ADA standards and regulations. Once completed, the City’s Transition Plan will include steps needed to reach ADA compliance over the next 25 years.
