Brea Resource Center

Throughout the year, BRC staff works with families in crisis; some of those families are then selected to participate in our annual Adopt-A-Family program. Families are “adopted” by local individuals, companies, church groups and provided with holiday gifts and meals for each member of the family. Adopters drop off gifts at the Resource Center and then families pick up from the Resource Center.

 Wish Trees

This year, the Resource Center has partnered with Coldsun Café, Reborn Coffee, Oak & Willow Coffee and Sunmerry Coffee to host our Wish Tree program. Individuals can pull a tag off any Wish Tree and return directly to the retailer. Gift cards are then used throughout the year to provide relief to Brea families facing any kind of financial hardship.

Your cash donations to the Brea Resource Center (Federal Tax ID number: 95-6000681) will support Brea families this holiday season and all year long.

In partnership with Brea Community Emergency Council (BCEC) and Active Christians Today, the Resource Center is, once again, participating in the annual Holiday Food Basket Program. This program allows local, low-income families to receive the fixings for a traditional holiday dinner. This year, rather than collecting food, BCEC will be purchasing $50 gift cards to distribute on Saturday, December 12 at the Brea Community Center.

Your cash donations to BCEC (a nonprofit 501c3 charity, Federal tax id: 95-6113628) will continue to help BREA families and seniors this holiday season.
