Responsibilities

The Cultural Arts Commission helps to identify the cultural needs and interests of the community and recommends various ways to broaden community participation in the arts. This commission is directly involved with the City of Brea Art Gallery and the Curtis Theatre, as well as other culturally-oriented events and programs. The commission is made up of five members.

Note: The Commission reserves the right to cancel a meeting due to holidays or vacation periods or when a quorum cannot be present. Notice is provided at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center when that happens and the meeting is removed from the website calendar.
