Coffee with a Cop at Brea Sports Park

Posted on March 5, 2015 at 1:11 p.m. by johnb johnb

On March 11 the Brea Police Department will host another installment of the Coffee With A Cop program. From 8:00-10:00 AM at the Brea Sports Park located at 3333 E. Birch Street (area of Birch/Valencia), members of the department will be available to meet residents over a cup of coffee to discuss police work, current crime trends, neighborhood problem solving techniques, or anything else on their minds. This Coffee With A Cop opportunity is being hosted by members of the department’s North Patrol Area, generally encompassing the City areas east of Brea Blvd and north of Birch Street. The Sports Park is directly next to Olinda School, so it is a perfect opportunity for parents to stop and meet their area officers right after dropping a child at school or by walking over from the surrounding neighborhoods. Local business owners and employees are also encouraged to attend. Our officers look forward to the unique opportunity to engage community members in this relaxed environment.

A special thanks to Corner Bakery, located in the Brea Gateway Center at 103 W. Imperial Hwy, for donating coffee for this event.
