What would happen if the entire community came together to help one another—City government, businesses, residents, the faith community, service groups schools and sports organizations?
Last year we found out! Brea joined the Love Our Cities movement in 2016 and the community responded by the hundreds and completed 25 projects throughout the City. Let’s top that in 2017, as we celebrate Brea’s Centennial.
Saturday April 29, 2017
8 a.m. Rally at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center
9-Noon Volunteer Service Projects
12:30 p.m. Thank You Celebration (Location TBD)
Service Projects Needed
Do you, or someone you know in Brea have a project that a group of enthusiastic, talented volunteers could accomplish? The goal of Love Brea is to help those individuals, families, non-profits, public/private schools in our community that need a helping hand. The projects selected will be those that best fit this goal. It's easy to submit a project.
Volunteers Needed
In order for this day to be a success, hundreds of volunteers are needed, as well as project managers. Enthusiasm and a willingness to help are the two main skills needed. Specialized skills in home repair; painting and landscaping are particularly helpful. We promise, this day will fill your heart. It's easy to register.
