In this session, students will use oil pastels to create large scale portraits of the natural world inspired by O'Keeffe's work.

In this session, gold paint and paint pens will be used to create a lavish "Tree of Life" in the style of this Art Nouveau revolutionary.
April 18 - Chesley Bonestell
In this session, science meets fiction. Students will use acrylic paint to create scenic galaxies inspired by images from the Hubble Space Telescope.
May 16 - Pablo Picasso
Picasso's decorative ceramics will be the inspiration for these creations with air dry clay.
June 20 - Hsu Wei
Learn the basic strokes of Chinese brush work and make traditional bamboo paintings inspired by this Ming Dynasty genius.

Pay homage to this great African American artist by using paint, paper, and fabric to tell stories inspired by her quilt patterns.

Inspired by this 19th century printmaker, we will be making joyful Posada calaveras (skulls) using printmaking techniques.
