With the 4th of July holiday next month, we want to remind you of Brea’s ban on fireworks. The sale, use, or discharge of all fireworks are prohibited in the City, even the “safe and sane” variety sold in other cities. Fireworks are dangerous and can be harmful to you, your property, and your pets. They are also a serious fire hazard as sparks from fireworks can travel to nearby homes or brush and ignite a fire.
If you are able to identify the exact location of someone using fireworks, please report it to Brea Police Department's non-emergency line at 714-990-7911. Violators face up to a $1,000 fine.
