Beginning October 2, the City of Brea and The HOPE Center will be partnering for street homeless outreach. The HOPE Center is designed as a centralized home for street homeless outreach workers and their specialized resources to deploy in real time when needed. Their staff will work in conjunction with the Brea Resource Center and Police Department. The Hope Center functions as a regional-wide response, integrating data and centralizing resources to street homeless in our communities. Coordinating multi-disciplinary and multi-jurisdictional agencies, the HOPE Center aligns the collaborative interests with a common agenda to manage street homelessness with shared performance metrics.
If you need assistance or want to provide resources to individuals in need, please call The HOPE Center at (657) 243-1884. Live dispatch is currently available Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - times will increase in the near future.
