[ARCHIVED] Brea Fest: A Taste of the Arts

Brea’s “Original” Food Fest began in 1986 and has become a community favorite event. Over 5,000 people can’t be wrong! This year’s Brea Fest: A Taste of the Arts will be held on Friday, August 16, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. throughout the Civic & Cultural Center and spills out onto Randolph Street. Each year this popular event invites the community to sample delicious food and beverages from over 35 area restaurants as they enjoy outdoor bands, live music and exhibit in the Gallery, demonstrating artists and live theatre performances. A special area called “Kidsville” is sponsored by North Hills Church and features kid friendly entertainment, make and take crafts, balloon animals, face painters and much more!

Admission to Brea Fest is free and all entertainment is free. All restaurants donate their food to this Arts fundraiser therefore there is a nominal charge for food and beverages of $3 per food ticket. All proceeds benefit Brea’s Art Programs such as the Curtis Theatre, City of Brea Gallery, Family Films, and Concerts in the Park.
